Those that have followed us for a bit know this track has quite the long history. The main section of it was written back in our teenager years' band. Then fleshed out in to a full song for our first release, and now toned up and trimmed down in to the version we came to after touring playing it for a bit. We are so happy to finally have the best version of this song to show you. It has grown with us over the years and there is something to that, I think.

Those that want to hear the first version go to the "Final EP" by Abandoned Sanctity and listen to the first track titled "Inhaled." It sounds like we were teenagers because we were.

Off the coast of depravity
Escaped the ruins and sank in your skin

Watched souls escape through a lens
Forked tongue spewing venom
Blackened lungs and bloodshot eyes

Searched for grief in a painting called relief

Adding fuel to all my insecurities

Forced dementia through my mind

Locked eyes with a ghost that failed me
Searched for solace in dead memories

So for the closure we'll never have

Until I feel nothing
I seek nothing

Carried the weight of words you spoke
Felt your God clenching my throat
Left to dwell for eternity
About love, hate, and everything in between

Inhaling smoke and breathing out fire
Wish I was never born with desire
